El Paso City...but in Serbia!

El Paso, City, Texas, Serbia, Theme Park

Yes, we also have El Paso City, it is a theme park located on the Zlatibor mountain, modeled on the real one, the one from Texas. I visited this theme park three months ago and did a short reportage, see if you have time. Although I did not have the opportunity to visit Texas and the city of the same name, I tried to evoke it with scenes as well as music and some effects ... I hope you like it .. The girl who appears in the video is my daughter. Oh and by the way, I contacted a news agency in El Paso, they were supposed to write about this theme park from Serbia and publish this video, but unfortunately this pandemic stopped the cooperation. Is anyone from here from El Paso? Photo is mine.

I have visited El Paso in Texas, it's a very large flat city, nothing to do with this "old western style" theme park. There is no much wood in El Paso. I loved your video.

A lot of westerns are filmed in Colorado and there is an El Paso in Colorado which looks similar to what you show in the video @LowRiderX

@LowRiderX The Western movies back in time were shoot at the Old Tucson Studios in Arizona, now in Colorado. The most "Western Style" real cities I have visited in the United States were Virginia City in Nevada and Tombstone in Arizona. The European Western movies were shoot in Spain.

@LadyDuck Unfortunately she told me that too @rebelann she lives in the city of El Paso I'm not 100% sure but I've heard that there is one part that is the same like this and that is only used for shooting western movies. Maybe that part was 'transferred' though, I don't know how many wester movies have been made in recent years, I believe very little ..

I like Serbias rendition of El Paso but there was never that much wood to build those kinds of structures. I thought you would like to see a little about my city:
Join a search for lost Spanish treasure. Explore mountain caves where ancient people lived. Visit the only tin mines in the United States. Ride three tramway...

@rebelann I'll take a look of course! The idea came about when one of our men (a Serb) returned from America after 50 years, he wanted to present to our people here a 'part' of America, how and why El Paso I'm not sure but I believe he lived there for so many years

I’ve been to Texas a couple of times and passed through El Paso. Your video is so cool and your daughter is gorgeous! It does look like all the old western towns I have visited.

@DianneN Thank you, she planned that visit for a long time and we finally traveled, because this place is not close to the city where we live. The houses are of course improvised, only the cafe is made so that you can enter with that cowboy door

@LowRiderX Those are called saloon doors. It was well worth the long trip to see something like that. I was surprised to see all the people who had the same idea.

@DianneN Yes, you're right, we mean the same door, only no one here calls them that, we attributed them to cowboys

@LowRiderX That's unfortunateTourism is one of the worst hit business in this pandemic. And it's really sad for countries where tourism is major contributor to economy.

@arunima25 Yes, the damage is huge, but there are a lot of us individuals who represent the country on their own, of course, it's not even close to the marketing done by travel agencies.

@jstory07 Yes, it's beautiful, he invested a lot of money, it's a man (Serb) who lived in America for over 50 years when he retired, returned to Serbia and made this theme park, to bring a part of America closer to our people, probably that place where he spent more than 50 years. By the way, this is the only theme park of this type in the whole country
