Students are enjoying winter vacations here too. They go back to school after the Epiphany.

@eshtreef Only the south of Switzerland, where I live, is Catholic. The winter vacations here started on December 24th and students will be back to school on the 7th of January. I do not know if it's different in the other Swiss Cantons, but it could be different.

Only 6 days at home? Wow that kinda sucks to be honest. We get to stay until January 25th. But, could the fact that Switzerland is a Catholic country play a role in the duration of the holidays in your country? I live in a majority Eastern Orthodox country, so Christmas is celebrated here on January 8th.

I hope you enjoy every moment of your school break. As a former teacher, I looked forward to them, too. I do hope you will be able to attend college in October. By then, things should be a lot better.

True. Teenage life is the best time in our lives, an one time opportunity that quickly passes. Hopefully college years will be as exciting as high school days were.

Well, hopefully that is good for you. Students around here, are about halfway through winter break. They only get ten to 14 days (unless you're in college) , and it's hard to believe how quick the time has come.
