January 2 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It was a good day today. I got up early and got a lot accomplished.
I'm thankful for the scale. I'm down another 1.2 pounds from yesterday at 181.0. Soon I should see the 70s again.
I'm thankful for the new skillet my sister gave me. I made my usual breakfast in it this morning. Though my usual breakfast has changed. I eliminated the potato so I'm only having it once a day, but even that isn't every day anymore.
I'm thankful I got some chores done today. The bathroom and kitchen floors are swept and washed.
I'm thankful I got a few groceries today. I still need more and will finish on Monday.
I'm thankful for the addition to my checking account this morning. Not only did I get my SS check early, on Thursday, but I also got the stimulus check today. Now I can get the brakes done on the car.
I'm thankful I got the notifications done twice today and spent some time finding out how you all are doing.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Vendetta. I'm moving forward and should connect a few dots soon so I can see this book finished by the end of February. At least that's my current goal.

what a lovely sunrise, thanks much fer sharin'. yer camera must like those pink clouds better'n mine, lol. honestly, couldn't tell ya what i 'twas thankful fer 7 days 'go. ya know, coz i'm most fergetful :)

I got my stimulus today, mom did too. Bfs dad got his 3 days ago though. Not fair.

That's great news. I got mine on the first (yesterday) And, of course my monthly check on the 31th.
I'm thankful I sept so well, despite having to adjust to my husband's odd work schedule. I'm thankful the clouds made going out today comfortable. I'm thankful I got things done that I wanted.
