Heartwarming Indeed....

Heartwarming things did I see See yesterday amongst all the chaos and misery All got together Got together to help To rescue people from the bitter deep cold No cold icy feelings came out Heartwarming feelings began to show Although so deep and inches thick of snow Some pushed other people´s cars Many were given food and shelter Shelter after hours of much suffering This is where we all come together And we all forget the darkness and the plight Of all that is going on Heartwarming to see that its still there in most of us To help another in need Heartwarming renderings indeed. This country is always in chaos when it comes to a lot of snow. Thank goodness for all the police, military and firemen and others they are real gold. Nuff said all just the other side I am seeing.

@lovinangelsinstead21 I saw how much snow you have and how happy people were, even at one intersection there was a man on skis, it made me laugh

Actually they did stop him as he was making the pavement an ice skating rink but good fun yes in general. We have had that kind of snow fall before and no one saying anything better to laugh and talk about the snow than el Covd all day long.

@lovinangelsinstead21 It’s definitely better to talk about it than about the virus.. that video of him has traveled the world

It's so good when people come together like that. Bad conditions often bring out the best in people. Lovely poem.

I guess that its because of all that has happened. When they get a bit of snow here its like wow what a misery. I am just remembring the harrowing experiences of the power cuts in Great Britain nuff said we all know what happened then like I said nuff said.

@jaboUK Because of Margi and the Coal Miners Strike in 1970 something. I had to walk it three or four miles sometimes as there were no buses nowt entrenched in deep slippery snow.

@lovinangelsinstead21 We haven't had any power cuts for ages, at least not in my part of England.

@lovinangelsinstead21 I still have Christmas up. I don't know when or if I'll take it down. It's a beautiful card.

People will pull together in critical moments to help others even sacrificing their own safety if need be.

We still have the power of empathy deep in us it might not always show but its still there above all in times like this. They mock all military men here but they forget they lay their lived on the line a lot of times to help all others its not all about warfare its about people.

It just gives you a bit of hope that the love is still there even if it seems buried miles deep beneath the earth. Yesterday I did not see the love or complicity in something that happened right under my nose but then these people are the way they are. Guy got stuck in a lift and lucky for the guy had his son running up and down the stairs to find the techie for the elevator who took ages to come and get his father out of there. I kept going and asking the guy who was stuck if he was okay but not too much though all the rest shut the door of their flats and that was it.

@CarolDM I would say so as well. Even though things are not good over here right now we need to hold on to hope.

It has been as cold as this before Margi its just that people forget but I don´t its been ages back now and it was as cold as it is now. In Sevilla its not so bad as here in the North and say Cantabria, Asturias, El Val de Aragón so no worries.

People now need to be united and help each other, because that is the only way we can survive.

So true you know, this is the best way I have seen people in this country when something like this happens. Country is still recovering now we have seen where people really care live on the television.
