My New Year's was fine, this isn't about that. This is about what I just found out about this morning - the New Year's ball drop was sponsored. I don't know if it's an Ughhh or an Ewwww that is more appropriate. Either way, that is sad and dystopian. I know things get commercialized over time and everyone is out to make a buck, but that just feels weird and wrong. I think we need a law against corny things like that. After looking it up too I guess this is not the first year, and actually might have been going on for a while. Shows how much I actually pay attention I guess. Still gross to me though.
