Well this is an interesting piece of information that I never knew! My 8 year old son is doing a project in class last week and this week which is each day there are learning things about animals. But did you know a group of FROGS, is called an Army! Like what??? My 8 year old came down and asked me if I knew because the Alexa upstairs didn’t know the answer or couldn’t find it. Possibly the wha he asked just wasn’t the right way. So I looked it up in my phone with Bing.

It wasn’t an actual question for you, silly. That is is what you call a ground of frogs an army. I even wrote I looked it up.

@nanette64 haha because they would murder you in big grounds they are know for attacking animals or humans if they feel threatened or if you did something to you. Crows are know to be a very smart bird and have memories and can recall faces.

Well I never knew that! I guess it doesn't often come up because you usually only see frogs individually, except in the breeding season - but then I should know because I volunteer for our local toad patrol!

This depends on where you live and probably where you work. I’ve seen tons at one apartment complex because the pound was across the road and they’re come out at night and cover the sidewalk.

@ShyBear88 Of course that is true. What time of year did you see the frogs?

@Fleura where I live in the summer when it’s warm. I also no longer live in that one spot I’ve moved from that apsretment places many years ago. But I live close to the woods now. You do see them more still in the summer but it’s more like a small handle but not in grounds some times two together but for the most a single one. They typically can be heard during the day but will be out at night when the bugs are out.
