when will india become a developed country?

i think it will take 20 to 30 years more to be called as developed country ! what are the reason for this is : --in a developped country at the very least 95% of the people are literate. In India the litteracy rates about 60% at the moment (about 70% males and 50% females). --The poverty level is huge: about 25% of Indians are BELOW poverty line. --It is true that India produces lots of high quality engineers, that it has very talented people and ressources but there is still LOTS of work to be done. --One thing is sure though: it mostly depends on politics. If India had a strong, intelligent, honest governement then it might become a developped nation very soon because unlike other countries India has what it takes to become a very prosperous and powerful nation.
