I fell asleep at 1:30 in the morning and had a horrible, heart pounding dream! I can't recall everything, but what I do recall makes me think of a bad 80's sci fi movie where computers take over the world. I know that even in my dream I was trying to wake myself. My google speaker was talking in a low and menacing voice. I can't remember what was being said in my dream, but I remember feeling threatened. I remember trying to resist whatever was being said and done. I can recall thinking something like "I don't need to be on the computer, don't make me get on the computer!" The scariest part was... The scariest part was trying to wake myself up. In my dream it felt like I was being induced into sleep and I was trying to fight it. I was clawing at my subconscious to wake up, screaming "WAKE UP! WAKE UP! I don't want to dream this anymore!" It finally worked and I woke up around 2:30 AM. I remember looking at my fitbit around 2 AM, so the dream was only thirty minutes long or less.

I wasn't sure I was gong to be able to get back to sleep so soon afterwards but I somehow managed it.

Very scary. I think I had a bit of sleep paralysis last night. I was terrified. My mind was screaming for me to wake up but my body was not cooperating.
