It's ok! You learn with practice and I hope you find this to be a safe space to practice your English. Do you mean - parents who pick a favorite child?

@MmaiLuv You're welcome! Ah. I'm an only child myself so personally I can't say. But I'm sorry to hear it. Maybe it is just certain things or interests they share that make it seem that way?

I'm sorry that you feel that your parents favor one child. Have you ever talked to them about it?

Do you mean that the parent's love is conditional instead of given freely?

You should always treat your children equal. Not favor one over another.

Not me, but my father. But yes in the future I will treat my children equal, cause I don't want my children to feel the same as me

Some parents do seem to give more live to one child than another but often that child might need more. Sometimes the difference ways parents career to our love their children are quite obvious to ask and other times they are very subtle. My parents always felt that if they gave a certain things to I've child they had to do the same for all six of us. But other parents gives what each child needs in life and that's not necessarily wrong either.

It is unfair for the other children when parents have favorites child in the family.

I think parents will always have a favorite, for whatever reason. Although most won't come out and say it directly. But certain things do make themselves a bit obvious. My sister swears I am my mom's favorite. But who knows? My mom loves us both very much. At the end of the day I wouldn't worry about it much. Life's too short to sweat the small stuff, you know. And no matter how much we may try, we can't impress everyone? Even our parents.
