studies on seating preferences of men in restaraunts or cafes

i'm doing a research project for my psychology course on the seating behaviour of men in restaraunts and cafes. it will be an unobtrusive observational study and my hypothesis will be along the lines of: when men choose thier seats in a cafe they will avoid sitting with their backs to the rest of the cafe, the theory being that the male defensive instinct will make men want to be able to see as much of the environment as possible. as part of the project we have to find examples of similar studies that have already been carried out. if anyone knows where i might find one can you please email me at dwalker@eastleigh.ac.uk thanks
