How much should you tip at restaurants?

I was just wondering if all of you tip when you go out to eat and how much do you usually calculate? For example if my meal is $21.00 I usually leave a $4-$5 tip! Is that enough?

It depends on the service we get...the better the service, the better the tip.

I have always been told you should double the tax and add a little.

I was always taught that the standard was AT LEAST 15%. You should always leave a good tip if the service is good. That is what the waiters/waitresses work so hard for, they usually only get paid a couple of bucks an hour.
