Controversy

We have the girl child being protected at all costs. But we merely forget of the boy child. Are they not children? Do they have laws to protect them? We have seen many boys failing to finish their studies, engage in criminal activities, are involved in drug trafficking and much more. According to my thought, I think we should also protect our boy children equally so as to raise an equal and enjoyable society to all.

Is that a rule in your country, or maybe there is a separate one for child protection and for their welfare. Is there no scholarship for all, free education or job opportunities for students to support their studies.

@macayada it's not a rule but the version is highly overlooked but I believe this will change for equal opportunities for all.

I agree. I have two boys. They also needed protection, security, education, and lots of love.

Boy and girl are protected equally in my country. As long as they're under 18, they're consider as underage. As boy who failing to finish study, it's up to them, not the law. It's the same if they're involve with criminal activities. They'll be on trial but as underage.

@prinzcy yes life choices are individualistic and some are influenced by environment, home upbringing and the social interactions

@arthurchapell very true and all of us should advocate for that no matter the background which a child was born. We don't choose where we come from.

Of course everyone in a society should be protected equally. And children should be protected at all costs.
