When the local government unit invited me to assist them with their planning session in order to come up with the 2022 Gender and Development (GAD) Plan and Budget, they gave me several pieces of crabs which I brought home. We steamed the crabs, ate some and kept the others for future use. This morning, we went to the market and we bought some Moringa leaves and coconut milk. My son's girlfriend know how to cook this dish and I just assisted her. We had a tasty lunch and I am so full. Have lovely Sunday!

It's such a coincidence we both work in LGU and cooked crab today. We should be bestfriends

@ARIES1973 @yoalldudes correct, i just responded to the first post with the small crabs earlier. i'm surprised you have to buy malunggay, though, since you're in the province. i'm in ncr and we have several trees. it is said ginataan dishes (food cooked in coconut milk) tend to taste even better after a few days.

That's a great dish for me and I'm craving it for now. We usually add taro leaves instead of moringa leaves but that would be a good source of nutrition too.

we had a huge moringa (drum stick) tree which we had to cut down as its roots got into our septic tank. Sadly we never used those leaves and you say you had to buy them.

Yeah, it tastes good. Though we seldom prepare this kind of food because we are all busy with our work.

It has a coconut milk. Cooking vegetable in a coconut milk is common in our country.
