Cranberry juice

My father called me today asking me to buy him a gallon of cranberry juice. He has this mild kidney problem. I think I inherited it from my dad and grandma. Speaking of my grandma on father side, she just discovered she had one kidney when she was very old and needed to have a checkup. Just imagine for how long she had lived with one kidney only. Anyway, when I was crying for my UTI, it was not my antibiotics that hastened my recovery, it was my cranberry juice. To be honest, the taste of it is not appealing but it does wonder to our kidneys. How much do you like cranberry juice?

i hear it does wonders, some of my relatives drink it every day. i do not like the taste though. is it only for kidney?

I'm not fond of cranberry juice by itself, but mixed with other flavors, I will drink it. Many of the juices here are mixed with cranberry juice. As long as the other flavors are stronger than the cranberry flavor, it tastes good.

i agree. the taste is not pleasant at all. Mine is mixed with grape juice but still not pleasant.

@Janet357 Don't they have cranberry pills in the health-food section of your grocery store? People who don't like cranberry juice here buy those and take them instead of drinking the juice.

i actually like cranberry juice, but it's sad that you have to drink it because of health issues. i hope you get better.
