Getting closer...

Just signed some paperwork to begin the renovations on my floor at the end of June. We're told that boxes will be brought in tomorrow for the second floor of our building. Those who want to pack things, and keep them with us during our temporary move...can use them. I hated watching them teardown those beautiful trees. But they need to so they can add a retention pond. We were told today they will also be adding additional parking in that area, as well; to accommodate for the new residents moving into the third building they will be adding. Some residents have made comments that the renovations above them are so loud, you think the ceiling is caving in. One resident said every light fixture, and pictures on her wall just rattle all day long. It will be my turn to listen to and go through that in a couple of months. Because the units above me on my side of the building will be next. The only positive thing is that quit at 3:30 pm to give residents time to enjoy the evening. I know some residents that go the bed at 5:30 pm every evening. Then they get up with the chickens the next morning. The downside for me is that they start at 7am. So no more sleeping in for me; for at least two months, once the floor above me gets going. It's getting real folks...
