Many people keep telling me that nothing is going to happen to Trump, he's going to get away with everything. I'm not talking about Always Trumpers. I'm talking about the Never Trumpers.
They saw the biggest political criminals in our lifetime, Nixon, Reagan and both Bush's just walk away with no consequences (Many Nixon and Reagan coconspirators did go to jail but the top people walked) and they can't help feeling that history is about to repeat itself.
I can't fault them too much because they're just playing the odds (While at the same time protecting themselves from a massive disappointment) that are still apparently on their side.
All I'm going to do is remind everyone that longshots do sometimes win. Especially when the track is muddy and the horse expected to win is lame, the jockey is a physical and mental wreck and all the trainers have quit.
Maybe the favorite will still win. But it's not a sure thing.

@DaddyEvil Yeah, these are the easy ones. The no-doubt cases. Well, they are all no-doubt cases but there isn't video of every single crime.

@just4him Well, anyone could beat Trump because literally, everyone in the world is better than Trump. And Biden is not perfect, he's already made huge mistakes, such as not canceling student debt. But he could be much worse.
You didn't think it was refreshing to see the President not make the whole speech about himself, to not ramble on about intensely stupid things, to not insult everyone, to not lie? It bewilders me that you don't know how he was elected.

@xander6464 Nope. I don't think so. I actually tried to listen to his speech from yesterday this morning. I had to turn it off. It was like taking bad medicine. I seriously don't know how he got elected.
