The capital of Hungary is formed on the two sides of the Danube River. Down in the valley is Pest with its commercial district. Up on the hill is Buda with its huge church and some government buildings. The great governmental Parliament building is on the Buda side of the river at the bottom of the hill. It is quite a lovely place. The locals say "pest" rather than "pest."

i've been to Budapest twice and i like that city. Danube River is amazing and everything is amazing specially at night. i definitely want to go there again.
