Two Owls Sheltering.....

Huge gusts of cold biting wind blew around them
Nestling together were two young owls
In the hollow of a tree
They nestled together against the cruelest of weather
Love was all they felt
Being so close, being so close
They forgot for a moment in time
That they were both cold and somewhat damp and wet
Rain spattered against their fragile frames
But in love they held close together
Protected by life itself
Protected by life itself.
This is how I am seeing two I presume young owls in the hollow of a tree hugging together as it were against the worst of weather.
Love itself held them both together.
Nuff said hope you feel that kind of love too in your life boy do we all need it right now.

There are no owls around here the odd robin and blackbird its a noisy place for them really but there are a douple of doves that coo away sometimes lovely.

They have a trust inherent in them I guess and yes I tried to put one of those dog coats on our dog we had then and you had to wrestle with him and he sure was a big boy.
We ended up falling all over the floor laughing with the effort.
Same way as you would think of the umbrella for your cats.
Lovely idea though.

Is´nt it just?
I saw a Spanish vet he is a really caring one the owl he had could not fly properly so he did some therapy with him and then he let the owl go back to where it came from when it was well again.

Me too but things here are very upside down due to what is going on and anyway before that they were very restrictive if you were not a qualified vet.

We really need it too.
Bonnie there was a guy stuck in the elevator or in the lift whatever you want to call it and I was like what they were quite willing to leave him there stuck till God knows when.
I was going out on the very small landing asking him if he was okay.
If it had not been that his son was there trying like a madman trying to find the number of the technician he might have stayed stuck till the year three thousand.
I cannot feel any extra love around here or any complicity at all if anything they are worse than ever or is just me?

No, they were okay sure of that and it was a nice deep hollow in the tree that they gotten into to take shelter from such weather.

Lovely poem about the two owls huddled together.
With this past year being what it's been I feel as if we've all been huddled together against the pandemic and fighting hard like those owls.

You got it right on the nail that is my double intention always written into what I write.
Its really about love but hey the owls I saw were all cuddled up together.
