Learned something new...

I love history... My mind gets very stimulated when I apply new knowledge to it. I have been working on my series of presidents. I am not necessarily doing them in order. There are now 46 presidents, and I have competed 23. So basically half. What I like to do is add a little history to my artwork. Even if it is just a couple of things. I had just completed an additional three, and was looking at their history. I found something I never saw before. I have not done a lot of research about it yet. But the Oval Office inauguration date changed after Truman became president. I noticed that up until this time... The new president took office on March 4th. When Roosevelt died in office, Truman became president, and fulfilled two terms. When Eisenhower took office, I noticed he was inaugurated on January 20th, instead of March 4th. I still have to research it, as to why the change. Unless some of you political history buffs want to help me out now. Since then... The new presidents take office on January 20th. I also noticed that Roosevelt was the only president that was elected for three terms. Of course he was a very popular and respected president during that time. I knew the basic knowledge of presidents. And I imagine this knowledge from some of you history buffs, would be considered basic kindergarten history. However...as I am doing my art series on the presidents...it has opened up a whole new world for me. One is never too old to start learning new things.

That sounds so fascinating, I too love history and looking back on different things. I write up articles on food for some sites and I know that people also are interested in where the food originated from so I also add that,

What sites do you write your food articles on? Would like to see them.
