Yes I've been thinking about the movie once Im done reading. I'm glad you reminded me. I will see how my imagination differ from the director's. It will be like the characters come to life. Oh how exciting. Have a nice weekend.

I love Gone with the Wind. My sister was named after Scarlett O’Hara, but hers is spelled scarlet after the color.
I have also seen the movie when i was a kid because my father loved it. Didn’t understand fully back then so i had to rewatch it again when i was in college. One of my all time I favorite movie.

@yoalldudes Yes that’s why my father wanted to see the movie. We saw it on Betamax back then. I think so. But we watched it on Betamax in 1980s. I think Gone with the Wind was shown in the Philippines in 1950s.

What a lovely name for your sister. Perhaps your parents were also a fan of this book. I cant rave enough. Glad to see a fellow lover of the book. May I ask was it really shot in 1939. I may be a dumb*** at tech history but I didnt know black and white is already up and running that era. Interesting!

Now I am excited to see the movie as well. There are 2 books I want to read even though I have seen the movie which is The Notebook and Madame Bovary. But Im not sure it is worth the trouble.
