This was day one of our garden project - which was originally planned about three years ago! The guys have finished for the day, the work including marking out where the path and new pond are going to go, removing two old and unproductive apple trees, and grubbing up part of the old path and some of the turf. Since we had the back of the house rebuilt - about five years ago - the path from back door to garden shed has been in the wrong place, so in future it will curve across the lawn and cross a round pond via a wooden bridge. Let's see how day two turns out!

We shall see! At least the dog likes the guys who are doing the work, so that's one potential nightmare out of the way!
