A little happier...

Breathing a little bit of a sigh of relief. I was not allowed to go in, but I peaked and saw the floors cleaned up...and the color looks a whole lot better. I still prefer the ones I have now...but I can live with the other ones. The walls look a tad bit creamier. Not sure if that will change. I don't like how they did the doors in the kitchen. They split them. So instead of having one single door...each cabinet has two tiny ones that open up as double doors. It kind of makes the kitchen look smaller. It also makes the doors look cheap. The countertops color wasn't too bad either. They are a tad bit richer in color than what I have now. I don't like the opening where the bar used to be. Many of the residents are going to spend some money buying credenzas or shelving to put in that open space. I will miss my pantry really badly. I did not want to spend money on pieces of furniture, but will have no choice if I want to make up for the storage they took away. I did see the dishwasher. Yay! I hope it is not too loud when we run it. Since I saw a two bedroom, I have no idea how they will lay the flooring in the single units. I hope they do the right thing. I did not get a chance to see the bathroom. They decided to not put carpet in the upper floor hallways.

Well, when you're renting you don't have a whole lot of say, but you can't like everything either. Glad there's stuff you can like or live with.

That's true. However, other than the color of my walls... I did like everything in my apartment the way it is now. I was very content.
