Kendall Manuel is a very clever eight year old girl who used her free time living in the home with her parents in Locke New York when her dad tested positive for the COVID 19 virus in January. Thanks to the assistance of her school teacher who brought her items needed for a school project she is working on related to making potholders from cotton loops as a way to keep her busy. What amazes me is that Kendall who has a passion of making these items in hopes of selling them so she could buy a video game system according to Kendall's mother. Instead of using the money that she earned to buy a video game system, Kendall who sold more than 150 potholders and does not to stop production, is using the money to donate to a children's hospital and a local animal shelter since a video game system is no longer on her wish list since in her heart helping sick children and animals who need a home is now her passion. So far Kendall has raised more than $1,300 dollars raised for both charities. In one word about the work that Kendall is doing is "awesome". How many children in our world today would donate their earnings to charity instead of buying their dream toy?

I agree with you since not many children these days are willing to give up their dream toys to assist people in need.

I hope so as well since not many children think the way that Kendall does due to the pressures of the entertainment world.

You are right since the lure of buying video games is addictive.
