Wearing make-up

April 18, 2021 11:39pm CST
The last time I wore a make up was a year ago. When Covid began, I stopped wearing them. I had to use light make up coz it was required to do so. Although, there are times, I just want to be simple. I'm not a heavy user of make-up to the point you cannot be recognized. I don't have anything against wearing heavy make-up, it's just not me. I just have it heavy to wear... Lol Early today while my mom was putting on her make-up, my aunt who is based abroad was teasing my mom. We ket on laughing but I was envious. So I went to my room and got my box of make-up. It's been a year since I last had my make-up. I decided to wear today but since I got sick I've never tried. When I started putting on my make-up, I washed my face with a facial wash then I wiped off the water and applied facial mask and after 10min., I rinsed it with not too cold water. Then after damping it with the toilet, I applied my face with a toner then a moisturizer. Then, I applied a facial powder. After, I started putting on an eye shadow.... Then, I applied a lipstick on. I wanted to use an eyeliner but I've ran out of my loner. I also wanted to wear a blush-on but I have not bought one. That's it. I realized wearing make-up isn't as easy as it used to be. Imagone, it's been a year. Just a while ago, I asked my cousin to get me a blush on and an eye liner, she said she'll see... Lol.. I really need to practice more often. What is your beauty regime. My male friends have their own Beaty regime too, they are nor gays. What about you?

Same here. I dont like to put too much on my face except skincare (ampoule, moisturizer, sunscreen etc). Moreover i have to put surgical face mask and hazmat suit/cover all when i work so my make up will melt immediately :D But lately, since i bought a cute coral blush cushion, i try to wear it every day excpet when im off altough it is not seen when i wear face mask LOL:D

Once in awhile I use face mask moisturizer too. When I go work I swear make-up, when I'm home I just wash my face with soap and water. Now, I just want to practice wearing make-up, it's been a year... Lol

@Fighting2013 I've actually had it, I've haven't used it since the pandemic. But since they've been encouraging me to wear make-up again or else it might expire, I might as well use it than say goodbye to them... Lol I need to buy an eye liner and a blush-on. I'm asking my cousin to buy me, lol. The first make-up set that I got was clinique. I alternate it with Ultima II for my facial wash. Now, I use celeteque for my facial wash. For my toner and moisturizer, I use Snail. Before the pandemic, my cousins does my facial, unfortunately I haven't done my facial for a while. Btw, I'm not vain, I'm just sensitive with the things I put on my face. The best treatment I use are soap and water. Lol... As soon as I get home, I get home, I make sure I clean my face with ponds wipe or ponds /eskinol astringent. Then I wipe it with ponds cold cream. And I wash my face with celeteque or soap and water. Then I apply toner and moisturizer.

I'm not into make up much. Just simple make up up to these days. I only wear skincare and compact powder. But I love face mask. I make my own or bought from the store.

I only wear makeup if necessary, but most of the time face powder only. For my face mask, I do it once a month or when I remember..... Lol

I never really took an interest in make up. I might use colored chap stick on my lips when they get chapped, but that's about as far as I'll willingly go. Growing up, I had break outs real bad. Now, it's not near as bad. I had to use some prescription cream that was supposed to help, but by making my skin more sensitive to the sun, actually made it worse.
