To upgrade or to just go with that!

Hey guys I was just musing whether to upgrade my PC or not. As it is working but I cannot do some jobs with ease like video editing and Photoshop jobs.As it takes some time to render.Also videos are stuttering
Now the question comes whether Upgrading fully is better over only changing some components as Graphics card. Also the new AMD Ryzen processors will do far better job.I know it is a technical question but I think this is the best place to discuss as I have been getting good suggestions and also some very good guide and sharing too.
So what do you guys think from your experience. Many of you have already upgraded their PC so they can probably answer good this question.

I am not very good with technology. Thankfully I have my husband and elder daughter who are tech savvy and I go to them for every issue. I guess my husband always updates my laptop.
I hope you can get some more technically appropriate answer from some here.

Though not tech savvy but yeah keeping it updated is good enough for smooth running

I am not a very "techy" person in fact I don't know much about computer hardware and computer software
But if you're asking for advice on whether to upgrade your computer or not I'd say it is best to have your computer (software and hardware) upgraded.
