Have you been betrayed before?

Good evening my friends,
I don't know friends if you have ever been disappointed by a close friend.
This guy gave me an appointment a week ago to meet me and we discuss about a deal worth a good amount of money which we had got together but he was with the plans and files.
We prepared to meet in a certain hotel called Bellevue and promised to keep time.
Today I woke up in the morning, prepared well and rushed to meet him by exactly nine.
Guess what! This guy didn't appear and when I tried to call him later he switched off the phone.
But what I found out from his friends , that this guy had sold it to another company and he feared to meet me again.
I felt bad up to now but but what I know , the world hasn't ended and opportunities ara always near us.
Friends have you ever been in the same situation?

My friend Belex, that kind of situation happens very often. There are people who do not value their word. I am one of those who thinks that a man's word is a document and should be honored. In the case of what happened to you, your friend should have first talked to you and explained his decision to you.

Sounds to me like you almost got scamed, and you lucked out because he found someone else. Friends like that, you don't need.

Unfortunately these things happen more often than we come to know of them. I believe in 'everything happens for a reason' and when something goes beyond my reach, I just accept it as a good thing that I was saved from some mishap or bad luck.
