A Sleepy Child: Toinks!?! / myLot

Before I end my day, let me share a sleepy teen in my class tonight. It seems Monday blues for Chinese students. I am a bad teacher because I keep on waking him up during class. It is a big NO for the company that letting him or her do this. The culprit is having so much homework on Monday. For me, I love having homework during my school days. Is homework too much back in the old days?

Many students probably do not get the proper amount of rest perhaps.

You said it right. They are more workhorse when it comes to doing them. Some of them do homework for more than 8 hours every day, especially if they are at the high school level.

II was not that much in my school days. We usually have them on Fridays and submit them every Monday.

@m_audrey6788 All I can remember is that teachers love giving surprised quizzes and I hated this style of teaching.

That's what I am thinking of. However, Chinese students are overloaded with homework every day. Unlike in our country, if it is summer vacation, we do not need to have homework. In China, they still have.
