Ever got soaked in rain? / myLot

It has been raining here continuously for past few days. When it rains I deliberately try to make some excuses to go out

. Getting soaked in the rain is one of the most beautiful experiences.Especially while mom is on guard. It's like a adventure to get soaked without getting caught by mom.

When those little drops hit you gently we feel we are lighter and all tiredness goes away. Do you also like to enjoy the rain?any experiences you would like to share?

Oh!!! Rain is so my thing... I love getting soaked, it's something that I will keep doing even at the age of 80(if I live)

Of course yes . I genuinely like to get soaked in the rain . 1-2 years ago , I went out of the town for some work on bike and while returning it suddenly started raining . I just stopped by the road but then i realized that no one is aroud who is going to shout at me . I was riding the bike slowly on the road while smelling the beautiful smell of soil . I just enjoyed that ride .

@Manojp29 Me and My friend did the same thing.While it was raining we drove very slowly to enjoy the rain

. Our hostel warden was very angry

But these little moments make memories which stays with us lifelong.

It may be nice if you're near your house and can get in quickly to change your clothes. I was soaked in London once and had to go back by underground to the place where I was staying. This was a horrible experience. The waggons were crammed with soaking wet people. The air was steaming.

@CuriousGab I have been out when it was raining and it was not fun. I do not like being out in the rain but there are times I just could not help it and had to go out and the weather was so nasty.

@Hannihar Yes,not everyone likes to enjoy.And the amount of rainfall is different everywhere.

@CuriousGab So true. Our rainly season in Jersusalem is in the winter and at times we do not get enough rain but the rest of the year we do not get rain. I am not fond of rain but know we need it so tolerate it during that period.

I dont take umbrella with me, so yes I got soaked few times. Usually in heavy summer rains , that comes all the sudden :D

I don't like getting soaked by rain, but I did when I was a child, especially if it had been really hot before the rain. I would run out in the summer rain and get cooled off and didn't care if my clothes got wet. When my kids were little, they did the same. After the rain stopped, I did like to go out and jump in the mud puddles with my kids.

@Kouponkaren I do deliberately go out during the first few days of the rain when it is not very heavy.

When I was kid I use to make boats and put them on running streams with my brother while getting soaked in rain. As we grow up we stop doing those lovely things and call it childish. But that is where real happiness lies.
