Rain, Rain Go Away

It is raining this morning for the third day in a row. I don't mind the rain now and then because it's good for the plants. But three days in a row is a bit much. It's gray here, and everything is wet and depressing.
I have white Christmas lights on three large plants in our house. I turned them on yesterday, with a cozy scented candle. I had them all lit up yesterday to cheer me up. I could never live in a place where it rains all the time, like Washington state in the U.S. It would be too depressing for me.
Do you like the rain? Or do you live in a place where it rains often?

I do love rain but not when it is raining heavily.At my place it rarely rains heavily and is not continous most of the times.
Hope the the sky clears and give some lovely sunshine to cheer you up

@Kouponkaren Good to know there's another snow person here. With my recent knee replacement, slipping on ice is worrisome.

@just4him For some reason I have a fear of slipping and falling on ice/snow. I recently read a story about someone's adult brother who slipped on the snow outside of his house at night and couldn't get up. He didn't have a cell phone with him and lived alone so he laid outside all night until early morning when the neighbor's dog found him. Fortunately, he did live, but he was unconscious when found. If it wasn't for that dog, who knows how long he would have been there. Gotta love a dog! I don't want that to be me!!!

@just4him I am more of a snow person also, except as I get older, I am afraid of slipping and falling in the snow.

The rain can very here where I live. Right now it's dry, with higher chances coming this weekend. Doesn't do right now any good, though. We need the rain to water the grass, clear and cool the air. If it were possible to send rain to someone. I'd ask you to send some my way. At least I do see some gray dark clouds floating by from time to time.

@CarolDM I agree with you about the heat and humidity. Yuck. It is much more humid where I live now than where I grew up. I had to get my hair cut differently because down here it sticks out like a bush in the humidity!

I know how you feel, we have had so much rain, longer than three days, and the news weather.man said places on our state haven't had any rain at all.

@prinzcy It finally stopped raining here. First day in 4 days. I still don't have to water my flowers because they are still wet from the rain!

@Rahnag We do seem to have a drought for a period of time every summer. But not right now. In fact, today is the 1st day it hasn't rained in 4 days! Yay.
