We all get to answer the same question one time or another as kids, adults, and even when we already have a job. "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
This question is the one that has always in the back of our minds, but life can derail us and put us on a whole different path. We can say that we want to be a Doctor, Lawyer, Nurse, ext. Once we get older life just happens and we end up having kids or even finding ourselves struggling to survive, so we find something just to make ends meet and find out that we actually enjoy what we do or we just make the best of it.
I am one of those people at the moment. I have went to school and I am working at a job that has nothing to do with what I went to school for, but let me just say I still have the passion for my career, but my family comes first and who knows I am coming up on two years at this job and I have been pondering. I have been thinking about just taking the next step and moving up.
If someone would have told me that I would be working at a Casino I would have just looked at them and shook my head. Writing is my side job and I love every minute and second of it. I have been posting my stories, but I have not made the next step to Self-publish out of fear I guess.
What about any of you? Are you on your Career job? Do you love your current one? Or are you just going with the flow of life and seeing where it will take you?

I am on go with the flow as of now. That's better at times.

Yes, it is better at times to just go with the flow and see what happens. I am basically doing that myself in some ways. My job is tolerable, but I am not ready to let go yet I guess. I am thankful to have my Job, because I know some don't have one at all.

Going with the flow mostly like a kite just following the dictates of the wind... My mind usually thinks too much dreaming about the things impossibly to be done knowing I am just a kite a mere puppetry of the wind and of the one that holds my string..

This problem is faced by everybody, if it is a problem at all ! "What do you want to be when you grow up ?"is a question which was answered by every one of us in different ways and by the same person in different ways at different times. As we grow up we gather more and more knowledge and also see greener fields and naturally change our ideas of growth. Sometimes we have to change to practically possible goals. Moreover, man is always tries bettering everything and we have to be always on the look out for better opportunities to grow in life. Even the President of US cannot say that the Presidentship is truly the position which he wanted to be when he grew up !
