I have to laugh! I posted the before and after pictures of the wall I was cleaning today. Someone just said just go and touch it up vs washing it. Well one I would need the original paint or cut a whole in the wall to get a paint sample. Over all when talking about paint paying a little more for a higher up sheen that has a gloss to it allows you to be able to wipe down the walls. You don’t have touch up as often. What painters and contractors don’t always tell people is to a higher sheen in the long run saves money. Also certain colors you can’t get in certain sheens because it won’t hold up in the mix. Also that getting just touch up paint some times you can’t get the small amount you some times have to get a gallon or a quarter. Got to do your home work when it comes to house stuff. If you can’t afford the gloss then flat will do till you can but just know if it gets marks on it or in a high area of traffic it’s going to get messy and you won’t be able to clean without taking the paint off.

The messes our cats make are real easy to clean. But, that does make since especially if you have kids or very destructive pets.

Kids make messes and walls is none of them. My youngest is the roughest when it comes to walls. The other two made there share when they where little just not to his level. But we learned with the older two can’t clean a flat wall paint just comes right off.

It can disappear with water and soap but it takes a lot of effort so i suggest just paint it again haha

Once again I don’t have the original paint I don’t own my house in a renter to the house. So I have no choice with what is on the walls. Painting it again yeah I can if I get permission I can pick the paint type. But even with soap and water it remove flats paint. Which then just shows your dry wall. If your cleaning the same spot over and over again it’s going to keep coming off. You wouldn’t put flat paint in a bathroom or kitchen?
