should foreign direct investment be permitted in indian education sector

Yes, why not, It will defintely improve educational infrastructure in India and this will be very usefull in research, R & D and India can start innovating technology. I feel FDI is a must in India especially in higher education. Many top brillent students from IITs and Medical colleges go to other contries for reaserach , post doctoral research on any technological and medical things. If FDI is allowed atleast in these sectors, higher education I think, India will do wonders in reaseach and R & D
