Today should be an interesting one. I've been doing some work on the speakers I've been restoring this morning, as well as testing out my new Shure SM-58 microphone.
At 2 PM, we have a music gig (the is the "newer" band) at a BBQ place in Martinez CA. It's supposed to hit 100 F or so today, so it should be an interesting experience. I'm filling up my big Gatorade bottle with a mixture of Gatorade and water.
I may visit the pool before I head off to the gig.
What are you up to on this sunny and hot Sunday?

It's only supposed to reach 89F here today. I just woke up from a nap and am planning on reading for a while. I hope you have a fun time at the gig this afternoon.

@DaddyEvil No hints as to what they're about? I am reading a book about Thomas Jefferson. I hadn't realized how vehemently anti-slavery he was, even in the 1700s.

We're only expecting it to go up to 91F today. I know your area has gotten hit really hard with the heat. We have plans for grilling for dinner later today, plus I'm doing the laundry for the week.

I did. The gig was fun. Did you see our third encore. Our drummer recorded it. It's about t5 degrees F cooler today. Not that I posted the temp (the other day) in C for Maluse. I'll have to check and see whether she thanked me.
