My dream has always been to write professionally. I have since childhood fostered the interest and dream to become a professional writer. My greatest joy was materialised when I was enrolled as a student to a Correspondence School for a Creative Writing course. I do not spend as much time as I would like to, in pursuing my writing career, because of other commitments and work. But I am getting maybe enough practice on Mylot and Blogfeast as well as on Associated Content.
We all have a dream, and it is important not to abandon your dream for whatever reason. I believe we all shape our own destiny, by virtue of our dreams and aspirations. It is not the strongest that always win the battle, but he/she who keep on keeping on and never gives up.

Practice is all you can do. And build up contacts and publishing credits. The world of professional writing is a cut throat one, and unless you know the right people, you can't get anywhere.

Thank you misskatonic for your encouragement.
I'm working hard at it and know about the pitfalls. I do enough research into publishing and publishing agencies. There is unfortunitly a lot af scamsters in the writng world as well. So, yes one must be vigilent. And as you say, practice makes perfect.
