My dream has always been to write professionally. I have since childhood fostered the interest and dream to become a professional writer. My greatest joy was materialised when I was enrolled as a student to a Correspondence School for a Creative Writing course. I do not spend as much time as I would like to, in pursuing my writing career, because of other commitments and work. But I am getting maybe enough practice on Mylot and Blogfeast as well as on Associated Content. We all have a dream, and it is important not to abandon your dream for whatever reason. I believe we all shape our own destiny, by virtue of our dreams and aspirations. It is not the strongest that always win the battle, but he/she who keep on keeping on and never gives up.

Practice is all you can do. And build up contacts and publishing credits. The world of professional writing is a cut throat one, and unless you know the right people, you can't get anywhere. Good luck, though.

Thank you misskatonic for your encouragement. I'm working hard at it and know about the pitfalls. I do enough research into publishing and publishing agencies. There is unfortunitly a lot af scamsters in the writng world as well. So, yes one must be vigilent. And as you say, practice makes perfect.
