Talking About A Down Pour / myLot

I was just sitting in my room reading, then there was a loud thunder. All of a sudden a downpour burst loose, and the rain from my roof, if you wouldn't know better, you would think there was someone up there with a hose. There's a large stream just coming down. It would be perfect for someone who needed to catch water. The thunder has stopped and now just really heavy rain. Sure hope it passes soon, I don't think so, the thunder is back. Hope you are having good weather.

Oh how I miss storms like that. I love thunderstorms. I hope there's no damage and you don't get flooded out.

I hope not, it was coming down enough to cause flood, but fortunately we live on the high side.

I'm sure it'll pass quickly. Heavey rains rarely last more than a few minutes.

It hasn’t rained here since yesterday but it was not that heavy Heavy rain like that makes me want to get snacks and have a movie day/night in comfy clothes

Same thing happened a couple of days ago here in Manila. There was a typhoon but the amount of rain that poured in such a short time was unbelievable. Good thing there was no reported flooding. Plus the lightning and thunder had 'end of the world' written all over it.
