Road Trip

Time for a little summer activity. If you read my posts you have heard me mention my friend Jane. Right now she is on a month long trip to visit her adult children. Before her trip she had decided to foster or adopt an adult dog. She likes dogs.She decided to get one that can fly with her in the future. She was chosen to adopt an elderly Yorkie dog. The rescue does not know how old Laverne is because she has no teeth. Jane will be back in Kansas July 27. July 29th she has an appointment to pick up Laverne. Clear across the state. I will go with her because it is a long drive. So it sounds as if I am in for some summer fun.

Always nice to hear of others adopting senior dogs. It does sound like a fun trip.

@GardenGerty Sometimes those differences make a wonderful friendship. I have a friend like that as well.

So wonderful that your friend is adopting an older dog. We hope to adopt a poodle in a year or so. Have fun on your trip!

Have a wonderful time. It is such a nice thing that your friend chose an older dog to save and love. Many times they are over looked.
