People never learnt

My cousin told us her family is under quarantine now. Her toddler is positive with Covid. My aunt and my cousin are the only people vaccinated so they have higher resistance against the virus. The thing is she hardly left home nor visiting others. However, a distant relative from her mother’s side visited her family. She brought her whole family. We were banned from visiting others actually but people never learn nor care. During the visit, they hugged and kissed the toddler. Luckily, the toddler only has mild symptom and now just home quarantine with the rest of the family. I just hope she recover soon.

@prinzcy Sometimes I wonder if this virus or any variant of it will ever go away.

If it is necessary, it is better to have an online meeting rather than visiting because of the pandemic. I hope your your cousin's toddler will get well soon.

These things happen because of ignorance. If not ignorance then carelessness. We just cannot turn away or refuse to allow if our relatives turn up, else we will be called rude and mannerless. Actually those who are visiting should have the sense , if it is advisable to visit or not during these pandemic.

That's the thing with Asian people. We couldn't turn down visitors. Even I, who locked the gate almost all the time, is being label as antisocial and other names.

Ridiculous to say the least. I do not know when it was the last time we had visitors.

That's a good thing. Less contact is ideal right now.

Unfortunately they don't. They won't realized it until they caught the disease themselves.

Family visits are not advised in these Covid days except in cases of emergency.
