Is there actually a new Covid Variant?

I don't know how true the news that there is a new Covid Variant which they call Delta plus.
And according to some twitter users who spread the info of the new variant is more deadly.
I was not aware of anything related to the new variant so I'm hoping if anyone knows what are the symptoms? Most tweets only said there's a new variant but no more other information. Kindly please tell me.
At this moment our government and DOH here only states about the delta variant but not about delta plus variant.
And news about delta plus variant are very little.

What?! Its actually 2? I only see about delta plus but not lambda. Thank you for sharing. Hoping WHO would release statements about the new variants.
