What do you do to your dead friends in Facebook?

We feel our heart breaks in pain and sorrow when see someone, a friend of ours in Facebook passed away. I had many friends who were no longer on earth due to sicknesses and covid. The feeling truly sucks. Also, what we usually see featured in Facebook account this time, fatalities due to covid
.
Last week, I greeted someone in Facebook, she was a long ago Mylotter here Tina Krause, only to know from her sister that she passed away two days before her birthday last year.
Frankly, I BLOCKED all those no longer with the living to avoid pains of remembering. I hope they forgive me. It does not mean that because I deleted or blocked them means forgetting them, it's No.
What about you? Do you also block them or retain in your account? Thank you guys for reading. Keep safe all.

I am fortunate enough all my friends are living their lives to their fullest! If this unfortunate event happens, I won't do anything!! I will cherish our bond on facebook, atleast they are with me on FB!

@cacay1 I am so sorry!! It is so sad to see people of your age going through pain! I am too going through physical pain and I wonder how I am going to live more 40-50 years in such pain!

I remember interacting with that user here. I am not active on FB and nor do I block anyone who are no longer alive.

I knew Tina (Krausehome). She was an active member here. It's sad that she is no more here on the site. Few days back only I checked her profile and found she is no more active here. I thought maybe because she uses to had pain in her legs so might not be on the sites these days. You gave me a shock.
I am not much active on Facebook so don't know much about the people.

@cacay1 oh that's really saddening news for me. She was a good member of the site.
There are many people here who have passed away but we don't get to know about them unless we are with them on the social sites.
I was shocked to know about when some told that HWG who was an active member here too passed away.

@sjvg1976 , who is that HWG? Yes, @Bhem passed away I think last year and @ridingbet last year . The cause was terminal sicknesses. May God grant them all eternal peace

@sjvg1976, I learned about her passing two weeks ago when FB displayed birthday celebrants on that day and saw her name and greeted her thru FB messenger and I received a reply from her sister she passed away last year two days before her birthday.

@prashu228 , that is why it is somewhat irritating even at the middle of the night messaging me for a project submission

I keep them in my account. Just today, in my Facebook memories, it reminded me of a post my late sister in law shared with me 8 years ago. It was nice to look back on it. I really miss her.

I can only answer for my late husband's FB page I keep it open so if any friends want to remember they can go and look at the photos there, When his birthday comes around each year I put in Happy Birthday to him,

I still keep my dear departed friend's facebook account. I have not blocked him at all. From time to time I still open our chat window to keep his memory.
