My Brother Got Into a Fight!

I wanna blabber here as I cannot see my brother now! My heart feels very heavy and I really wanna throw punch to that irresponsible person who caused chaos! I always asked my brother to go for evening walks to the parks near our house! One park is just behind our house and another one is infront of our house! But he said,"no. these are small parks". Today, he went to a park 1 km away from house house which is big in size, with his friend! What I have gathered from my mother, a drunk person hit my brother and then my brother excused himself! But that drunk person, out of his mind, started hurling abuses to my brother.. And my brother gets agitated if someone scolds our parents, and that drunkard did that! I brother shouted at him, and he punched my brother and my brother also punched him.. Crowd gathered, and the security guard asked my brother to back off as he saw my brother is a newbie there and that drunkard is an oldie there!! My father's friend suggested and also asked if we will call police but my mother intervened and suggested to make peace out of it! We are new in this area.. We have noone here!! What if the guy at some point of time, creates chaos infront of our house, or to us, we would be helpless!! That's also right!! Most of the time, my father stays in other district because of his work commitment and as because we have no contacts here, we chose to remain silent! I wish I could have some power, I would have asked that guy to apologise my brother infront of everyone! But then that's not how a system works! Wrong people have unity and innocent people are helpless! It's just that I am angry and now my brother is in clinic.. I am waiting for him eagerly.. As my mom said, his face is swollen and his glass broke into piece!

I think that police should help. At least you can file a complaint. This has little to apologise in front of others. The guy will not do it if he was drunk. And keep away from him.

@anya12adwi it's not that the people who have no contacts with the influential people should remain silent always.

@sjvg1976 I know! My brother is deeply disturbed by this incident! He never pokes his nose into others' matters! And my parents don't wanna involve in matters like these which can turn into ugly mess quickly

I know! But police won't be able to do anything! We don't have any contacts, or influential! I am atleast glad, that my brother slapped that guy twice after he got punched!

Yes, I understand completely your situation. Sadly, this is how India or most of the country works. Don't worry. Just make sure not to loose temper in front them. Speak coolly as possible. Ans tell your brother to not act so open. You are right. I also think that girl was with him.

@Anqaya True! I went to the police station yesterday. I was happy that they listened to us but then when I called my brother like as he had done bachelors in law, he said that's not the procedure of investigation.. My brother who accompanied me, told that the OIC wanted money and that is why wanted me to sit there.. I am feeling now more helpless!

He was without a mask, he was smelling! Instead of tackling him, the guard came and asked my brother to leave! I am more furious at him!

@anya12adwi I know dear but you know the people here. They're trash and they think they rule the place. Just don't loose temper keep calm and try to solve in a cool way so that that man understands you guys can't be controlled. And as for the guard, sorry to say but the reason some people don't ever have an improved life because of their acts. At the end of the day he is still a guard.

I understand completely what you are meaning here about having no one and that wrong people suck and band together to get the good ones in trouble. I am so sorry for your Brother. I know this is infuriating that some lo guy had the audacity to get your Brother in trouble. I hope this guy gets lost from you all.

Thank you! My brother is regretting why did he engage with that guy! He could have avoided this unfortunate incident! Adding to his woes, my parents are also lamenting why he did not avoid the situation, he was a stranger, let him abuse and etc!

If the person is a drunkard then better to leave him as they don't even know what they did the previous night

If you are drunk, then stay away from public places na! My brother later elaborated that there was a girl near him and she fled from the scene after he shouted at my brother!

So sorry for your brother. Yes you did right and kept quiet. That person might be having some contact so had a courage to roam in the park and had a fight with your brother in the public place . But you should have called police . It's not good to leave such criminals free , today he had punched your brother tomorrow he will punch someone else . He should have been punished.

That's what I told my brother! I asked him he should have stayed there, called us and called the police! We would not have let the matter go into fizz! He was scared, not that did he say, but I could feel his fear.. This was his first time ever in his life.. He had frozen and wanted to come home as soon as possible.

That's awfully unfair! Being an oldie is not and will never be a license to physically abuse the new ones. I feel bad for your brother. I hope he is safe.

Yes he is safe but there is red dot in his eye! He pretends like he is past over this, I know he is still thinking about the incident and regretting why did he confront that person!
