Wife is sick

She has not had a great appetite for almost a week now, although she is getting a bit better. But then she told me she can't taste much. She also feels a bit tired, but that's all. I want to bring her to the doctor but she is very scared they'll take her away.
We are just making her eat healthy and stay hydrated because she has no fever, I hope she gets better soon.

Has she been tested for Covid? It's a simple test and just takes a minute.

We can get free tests for it from the pharmacy in a grocery store. We call in advance, go to the drive-up window, tell the person inside that we called and they pass the test kit out to us. That person will explain how to use the kit while we follow the instructions and then pass the test kit back through the drive-up window and go home. Within two days the pharmacy calls and tells us if we're positive for Covid or not.
