A box from the Asian store

Some days ago I ordered food and drinks from an online store, and the box arrived today. The store sells things from many different parts of Asia. I bought soft drinks from Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines, crackers and dried mangoes from the Philippines, candy from Indonesia, chips from the Philippines and South Korea, instant noodles from Thailand, chili sauce from the Philippines and Korean BBC sauce.
Most of the things are for our visitors (some familly members and close friends) We like to serve something different instead of the boring, local snacks can you can buy anywhere.
Last year we didn't invite visitors, but in the past we have had other "theme parties". Last time we bought snacks from the Middle East. Most of our family members and friends like to experiment and try new things.

Thanks. We don't travel at the moment, so it is nice to experience a little bit of other countries this way

That sounds like a good variety of snacks. I wonder that they did not had anything from India?
Sometime such Theme Parties can give quite a good change from Monotony.

They have a category called India, but it is very small and most of the things were sold out 
That was a little disappointing because I was hoping to include some things from India, but at the moment is it not possible.

We have what we call as Cornflakes Mixture in which dried and small corn flakes are mixed with a few more salty things. It is quite delicious.
Plus Khatta-Meetha (sweet and sour) Namkeen Mix (Salty snack with both sour and sweet flavor).
Plus Samosas.

I hope our visitors will like the things we bought. Most of those things aren't available in the local grocery stores.

My country imports rice from other countries, but I don't think I have tried rice from the Philippines. The webshop I used has many different snacks from the Phillippines, and it is nice to try things that we can't buy in our local stores.

No, it is a local webshop from my country. I think that most of their customers are Asian immigrants who live here.
