200 peso budget for a meal with friends

August 24, 2021 2:19am CST
Today, My college friend from other province had to get in my place to do some important stuff.. As I was at the office this morning, She chatted me and told me she's coming.. So since I haven't seen her for quite sometime I decided to see her during lunch break and she agreed.. then one of my college friend also liked to come.. haha, Since It was a surprised visit, we didn't got to prepare for something and honestly, We lack budget for the day.. hahaha, So we were all honest by our budget and we have decided to eat now in a Fast Food chain and order up something that would fit 200 pesos each.. And we were happy while we were eating and chit chatting.. And guess what.. We had plan on having a get together on December so everyone will be ready for the trip and the expenses.. Do you happen to be like me when meeting with friends? Are you satisfied by by seeing your friend for a short period of time? * Will post a picture later, I just need to edit it to fit here

sometimes, you do not need much money when you are with friends. You can enjoy anything

We all are so busy in our lives now that managing a short visit to each other also gets challenging. I always look forward to meeting my friends from student life. Glad that you had a good time and you could manage a meal suiting each one's budget.

It's an awkward situation when friends come to visit unplanned. Budget is a big factor and my availability is also one factor to consider.

Usually, money isn't important with those you care about. They just want to see/talk with you and spend time together... I haven't seen my friends since the pandemic began... one friend came over yesterday. We spent an hour sitting on my front porch and talking, catching up with what's been happening with each other since we last talked together. It was very nice. And we didn't need to spend anything to have a good time and enjoy each other.

@Hanbinandaeyo How much of the time was spent talking about your hubby and your son? Do the friends have children, too? Or did I already ask you that? (Sorry if I did...) Yes, our talk was good. He just got a nice raise at work. (He'll be making $35 USD an hour... I've only made that much editing manuscripts and I can't do that all the time.) I told him about having minor heart attacks. He was worried... *sigh*

@DaddyEvil we talked like 2 hrs.. In my cirlcle of friend (during college days) It's only me who have a child already.. The rest is single and ready to mingle..haha.. I was kinda telling them not to get child for the mean time and enjoy being single..although I enjoy parenting, But I didn't get to do the stuffs I want when I was single.. That's great to hear about the raise.. Well As long as we put food on our table then were good to go But having a minor heart attack is quite not good ah.. need to check out ourselves

Seeing friends for a short period of time is better than not seeing them.

I have a short window of vacation in December, after the 25th. I would like to spend it with my family. I already miss my brothers and sisters. We have a lot to catch up. And we are not getting younger.
