August 25 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been a very good day.
I'm thankful the weather was good this morning so I could go to the pool. I had a very good workout.
I'm thankful I got my laundry done this morning and spent a little time with my son. Not much, but I saw him and talked to him for a few minutes before he was off and running.
I'm thankful I got my walk while I was at my son's. The mosquitoes didn't bother me. Maybe they didn't recognize me in a new neighborhood. 
I'm thankful I found a parking space in the visitor's area at the complex. They're repaving the parking lot. Today, the half I live on. I didn't like the idea of having to walk with a basket of laundry from the street a block away.
I'm thankful for sunshine when the weatherman promised rain. We'll see how the rest of the week holds up.
I'm thankful I have more of the clutter removed from my office and more packing completed. I have one bookcase left to pack and the knickknacks on my organ. Then this room will be finished and I can relax for the next 14 days.

25th, my late mother’s supposed birthday. And i had been sick all day and i stayed in bed most of the time. But i was grateful. Grateful that my son checked on me several times a day to see how i was. And he would bring me some hot towel so i could placed it on my face as a steam so i could breathe. I may had a terrible day being sick but still grateful for my sweet son.

The heat came back in spades, so I'm glad that you're not bug food.
Eventhough it's yesterday, I'm thankful for the storm we wound up with last night. And, I figured out how to use the dishwasher with the microwave on it. So I guess that's something else to be thankful for.

@just4him We wound up buying a microwave that was much bigger than we thought. So, the only place large enough to place it, so happened to be the top of our portable dishwasher. I knew I could move the dishwasher with the microwave on it, it was just a matter of getting the dishwasher far enough from the sink so the microwave didn't get splashed if I had trouble connecting the hoses. Needless to say it was a success. My husband was more nervous about me doing it than he was.

The packing has went very well. I dont mind the packing. But unpacking can be a pain with deciding where to put things.
I am thankful that I am pretty sure Mocha goat will have a new home Friday, I have chatted with the lady a few times today.

We had a warm one today, yup right around 87 degrees:) I'm thankful that today was pay day, for Jay and me. Now, bills get paid on time(we always make sure:) I'm thankful, it's beginning to cool down a little, awesome

Last week my mother had the week off because some of the clients had covid. So last week I went with her to take some branches from the bushes down the hill. I got eat up by mosquitoes. Not thankful of that. But thankful that I had some anti-itch medicine to spray on the bites.
