Another Workout Done & Fasting

I had to fast till about noon today, so I started the day off with a workout after dropping off my son at school. I got an hour and a half of dancing in. Burned almost 800 calories (793 I think). Thankfully I can find all the workouts/ dance routines on YouTube. Anyways....around 12:30 PM I made my break-fast meal. What I had was sausage, eggs, and a coffee with heavy cream (and sugar free chocolate syrup to make it a mocha). Not sure what I will have for the rest of the day yet. Suggestions? I know it may be hard to suggest things for me since I am so picky.

Hello Dear Wow Amazing burning a lot of calories everybody makes body fit and strong.. Me, I don:t know if when I will burn calories haha.. After working hours I feel so tried and sleepy haha.. Good for you dear and it will also boost your immune system.. keep it up..

How did the fasting go? i have though about trying that, but sometimes I end up in the 70s in the am, risky to fast then

I woke up over 200 so I wasn't worried lol. I made it through, at least...lol I wish I could wake up in the 70's again...

We are simmering a ham bone and making split pea soup for supper. Might bake bread or biscuits to have with it. Tomato slices on the side as garden is full of them right now. I can't suggest anything for you. We eat lots of veggies.

I figured nobody could since I don't eat fruit or veggies (besides potatoes...and they don't really count). Well hope you enjoy your meal....bread/biscuits sound good.

I will eat anything, almost. But sausage and eggs sounds delicious, with a mocha coffee:) They also have sugar-free cool whip we love. I put it in latte once, it was wonderful!

Well that is good that you aren't very picky. Sausage and eggs are alright, not a favorite but wasn't bad. I have seen sugar free cool whip, and it's fine. I get whipped cream that only had 1 carb or so per serving.

@MommyOfEli2013 How about hot dogs and beans? What was the fast for? Glad you had a nice workout. We have a minor fast coming up next week. Minor fast is where we eat early breakfast and then start fasting till the fast is over. We have a major fast the following week and as a matter of fact we start fasting the night before and it lasts about 26 hours or so and I usually fast longer because I go to bed while the fast is still on.

@MommyOfEli2013 I get up at different times in the morning. When my cat comes in to see me then I need to get up and feed her. It depends on what I have to do. Sometimes breakfast is as early as 4 am and on fast days I eat earlier so can be ready for when the minor fast is. I love beans and hot dogs.

Hate beans, lol.... don't usually eat hot dogs either. Fasting for health reasons.....Hmm....what is early breakfast?

Hi Courtney, That is an awesome calorie burn. I need to crank things up a notch or several myself - walking alone is not enough. I luvvv the dance workout routines and that is a great cardio workout as well. I am intermittent fasting myself (12 to 8) I'm a vegan so I try to get my protein in with my purely inspired shake which I throw a few extras in like flax for my Omega-3's Chia seed (high nutrients and curbs hunger), sometimes 1/2 a banana. So many nutrients and protein. I stay full while then have my heaviest meal ( an impossible burger with salad if it's a treat day) but often I try to sub the bun for lettuce and make sure to have a light meal for dinner (salads maybe a side of veggies). A nutritionist once told me to cut out white foods and I would become healthier, so I cut back on potatoes, but enjoy sweet potatoes a lot. and sometimes skip the white rice for brown or quinoa. I don't eat meat but fish is very healthy and white chicken or lean beef. Watch out for margarine, and sugars. Stores fat and creates more hunger.

Thank you....dancing workouts do burn a lot. That's one reason I don't like to walk for exercise...doesn't burn enough in my opinion. For some it might, I guess... You eat in those hours, or fast 12 to 8? Well either way that kind of fasting is good. I couldn't imagine eating vegan....mostly because I don't like any veggies, lol. Protein shakes are good though. I don't really listen to nutritionists anymore since they recommend the wrong diet for me. They recommend healthier grains, sure.....but carbs are not good for me. Oh I eat real butter...none of that fake garbage! Real butter is one great thing about Keto.

I found Greek style yoghurt and blueberries will keep you feeling fuller for longer and has been shown to lose fat quicker.
