Can we find man's petty mind in the word of God ?

The holy books were written under divine inspiration. It is something like God himself dictated the words and the prophets wrote them down. However, the authors were human and humans tend to have a petty and narrow mind. Even while writing down that which God dictated, man is bound to add his own petty thoughts here and there to the word of God. Whenever we come across gender discrimination, condemning people to hell, looking down upon other religions, selecting some only as chosen people in the holy books, we can say these verses are from the petty minds of the authors.
