Today is Ganesh Chaturthi. People mostly of Maharashtra, Odisha and Karnataka celebrate this day with full devotion, pomp and show. Ganesh as is said in Hindu mythology is said to be the Lord of well being. He bestows us with knowledge, health, wealth and salvation too. Its celebrate in my in-laws house and I have kept up the tradition as we have settled in Odisha though we our origin is in Bengal. To mark the occasion I did say my prayers and made some delicacies.

We just stayed at home and prayed as enjoyment were restricted because of the pandemic. Moreover I don't go out on festivals excepting Durga Puja which I am not this year.
