Hello Everyone! What comes to your mind when you look back in the year 2019 ? To us, 2019 was a very good year despite our health issues.. It was Feb. of that year when my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer.. He was very lucky that they found out before our scheduled flight to the Philippines.. Two weeks after he was diagnosed, the surgeon decided to operate on him the day before he went on his holiday trip to the US..It was that serious..And we are very grateful that the surgeon cared enough to perform the operation, otherwise, we would have waited 4 weeks.. So yeah, 2019 was a good year.. If he was diagnosed in 2020, he won't be alive today..The cancer would have spread to his other organs..But he underwent another major surgery just before the lockdown in 2020.. The lockdowns helped him to recover quickly and now he is cancer free.. All our retirement and travel plans, suddenly are no longer as important. We'll just enjoy each day as it comes.. Take care Everyone

Oh that was really nice. Glad that your husband is safe now. I`m happy for you. I was in the Philippines on Nov to Dec 2019 and have enjoyed that time with my family there. I was really happy and was lucky that we went home back here in Germany before the lockdown started

Glad to know that he was diagnosed with cancer at an early stage otherwise it would have been spread.

2019 is the year we were free. Free to do anything you like. With the restrictions in place now life is just not the same anymore

What a beautiful story. I guess your husband was just there at the right time and at the right place to fix himself for the better. You have a wonderful purpose to do in your life that's why it happens that way.
