Long awaited vacation

Trying to do our due diligence during the COVID pandemic, my wife and I have pretty much been on lockdown. We go to work, shop when we have to, and we've limited out dining out as much as possible without going insane. Unlike many others, we enjoyed our time together and if nothing else, gave us a glimpse of what retired live may be like. But we've decided to take a vacation plunge. So, this Friday my wife and I will FINALLY be taking a short vacation. We're heading to the Florida/Alabama state line to spend about 4 days with a relative that lives very close to the infamous Flora-Bama Beach Bar. We've been looking forward to the trip for several months now and as the day draws near, I find myself getting more and more excited about getting out of town. According to Google Maps, it's going to be approximately 637 miles from our town to the Flora-Bama area. About 9 hours, 17 minutes. I'm hoping that we'll be able to make a little better time then that because I normally go about 7 mph over the speed limit on the highway. We'll be taking my semi-new Ford Explorer so we'll have plenty of room while we're driving and if we need to, the passenger can lay the seat back and get a little rest. STOKED!!!
