How on earth can I choose a 'Best Response'?

I received some responses to my post 'What do you do on Saturdays'? So I thought I would take a look and read them. There are over a thousand responses! Are we to pick a 'Best Response' from all the responses? or Do we pick a 'Best Response' for each page? I have over 1,000 responses. It will take me two weeks to review each response. I do read them all. They have meaning for me. I need to read them in order to honestly choose a 'Best Response'. I just don't have that kind of time, or memory. Is anyone else having this problem? How many of us will write myLot and submit a suggestion to pick a 'Best Response' for each page? Mylot, this is my submission: I would like to have a 'Best Response' on each page. Thank you.

I choose the best response by quality, composition and length. But I've never had a post get that many responses, so I haven't had to pick through so many posts! I'd say go through the first few pages and pick whichever one jumps out at you as the best response.
I agree that a best response per page would be best.

I do not get a 1000 responses for one discussion but I know how you feel as far as getting a lot of responses sometimes and going through all the pages and trying to decide which one I should mark as best response. I will go through them all and go by prcoess of elminition. I rule out the ones that really short answers and are not thought out well. It would be nice to have the best response on each page but right now we can only choose one.
